Hello. I would like to bring you up to date on our progress with LEGENDS RACING CLUB ARIZONA. Please pass this info on to any other Legends, Thunder Roadster or Bandoleros racers that may not be aware of our club.
Our website is still in process of development and we will utilize it for your information from now on.
FIREBIRD OVAL TEST DAY: The day has been changed to SATURDAY FEBRUARY 7TH. This is the 3/10 mile flat paved oval at the south end of the East Track facility. Use Gate 1, closest to the Freeway. We will be on track from 9am thru 3pm. Bring lunch and fuel or you may go across freeway to the gas station & store. We will run 10-20 min sessions with 5 cars per session. We will group you by car type. THE COST WILL BE $75 PER CAR. The gate to the track will open 7am for entry. Go in Gate 1 to the right side gate to the East Track. Go thru the East Track all the way south until you see the oval. There is paved parking on the east side of the oval.
The purpose of this day is to meet you all and have you meet the Legends Racing Club Arizona officials. We also want you to give us your feedback on the oval. The area is pretty basic. Firebird has told us that they will add infrastructure if we make this oval a popular race site.

FIRST RACE RESULTS: On January 10-11 we held the first LEGENDS RACING CLUB ARIZONA race as part of the ASA-ProAutoSports event that weekend. We had 4 Legends cars run in the race. They placed 1. Albert Flores Jr, 2. Carlton Peterson, 3. Richard Wasserman, and 4. Albert Flores Sr.
NEXT ROAD RACE: February 14 & 15 will be the next two road races. These races will be run as part of the ASA-ProAutoSports race weekend. Friday 13th is a practice day. Saturday 14th will have a practice, qualifying session, qualifying race and Main Race for points. Sunday will have the same schedule. Legends and Thunder Roadsters will run in the ProAutoSports Yellow Group. Bandoleros will run in the Purple Group. You can register for this event on line and save over registering at the track by going to: www.proautosports.com and going to registration. If you pay and do not run, that payment will be held as a credit towards a future event.
This event will be on the Firebird East Track, gate 1. This is a 1.2 mile excellent course for these cars. The course map is available if you email us.
Drivers new to this program will have to go through a 1/2 day New Member Orientation. Drivers under age of 18 will have to have both parents sign a waiver. If both parents are not coming to the event, we can mail the waiver to you or you can pick it up at the oval test day.
